AN OPENING NIGHT TO REMEMBER

On April 16, 2024, BEING MICHELLE opened the inaugural SignLight International Film Festival at the Pacific Design Center's SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood, California.

The screening was followed by a filmmaker Q&A moderated by Rosie O'Donnell, bringing together filmmakers and audiences for a conversation about Deaf rights, disability justice, and the importance of accessible storytelling.

The evening marked a significant milestone for BEING MICHELLE, which received the festival's Best Documentary Feature award.
